Apprenticeships

Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.

An apprenticeship is a system for training a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on-the-job training and often some accompanying study. Apprenticeships can also enable practitioners to gain a license to practice in a regulated profession. Upon completion of classroom training, apprentices will be placed with local employers and assigned an on-the-job mentor to hone and perfect their new skills. Below are Apprenticeships offered:

  • Lowers your cost for recruitment and training
  • Results in higher productivity
  • Develops highly skilled employees - your company provides guidance and mentors so apprentices learn exactly how you want the job done
