Emanuel Arizmendi

#GivingTuesday may have passed for 2019, but there are always opportunities to give to aid in student success. Scholarships are a great way to make sure students succeed. Take Emanuel Arizmendi for example. He recently was the recipient of the Remijio Ontiveros Scholarship, only the third such student to receive the scholarship. Read how this scholarship helped him.

“My name is Emanuel Arizmendi. Born in Idaho raised in Arizona. I am one of five siblings and will become the second in my family to graduate from college! Becoming a carpenter was a bitter sweet moment for me. Carpentry is a very challenging career, however, very rewarding. Joining the carpenter apprenticeship program was a very eye-opening experience. The time and help dedicated to each individual gives me the knowledge and skills to become the best in the business and a complete professional. My long-term goal with the construction management program is to become the best in this trade and ultimately become a project manager/owner of a company."
